Can you use a Pioner boat all year round?

Yes, you can use a Pioner boat all year round. Our boats can operate in temperatures up to ±40 °C.

What size engine can my Pioner boat have?

That depends on the model you choose. Please contact one of our distributors for advice.

What is the potential top speed of my boat reach?

That depends on the model and engine you choose. Talk to your distributor for more information on the potential top speed of your specific boat and engine.

What is the biggest load the bow gate can take?

The bow gate can take loads up to around 100 kg.

Are the boats self-draining?

All Pioner models are self-draining. The Pioner 17 also has a drainage pump fitted.

Are any of your models suitable for people with disabilities?
Do you have a boat with room for several wheelchair users?

Yes, the Pioner Multi has room for wheelchairs. How many there is room for depends on the size of the wheelchairs etc.

I cannot get my boat to plane, what am I doing wrong?

Several factors determine whether or not a boat will plane; how it is loaded, and how the load is distributed around the boat, what propeller the engine has and if the engine is mounted. Try redistributing the load around the boat. If this does not work, contact your distributor to see if it can be something to do with the engine.

Is the boat stable in rough seas?

Yes, the boat is stable in rough seas. However, we strongly recommend not going out to sea in stormy weather with very big waves.

Can you mount an engine at the front of the boat?

You can mount an engine at the front of a Pioner 14 Fisher.

Which engine brands do you recommend?

Please contact your distributor who will recommend the best choice for you.

Operation and maintenance

I have got a lot of water in the hull, how can I get this out?

If the boat has a brass drain plug, this can be removed and the water should then drain out. If that does not work, contact your distributor.

What do I need to think about when laying-up my boat for winter?

The boat should be drained of water, stored on a stable base and preferably covered. You can download our check list for winter storage of boats here.

Is it possible to buy spare parts? How can I do this?

Yes, you can buy spare parts from a distributor.

Can the hull become deformed if it is kept on a trailer on land?

Yes, this can happen. It is therefore important to have a suitable trailer.

How can I repair my Pioner boat?

That depends on what it wrong with it. You can repair certain kinds of damage yourself, otherwise we recommend you contact your distributor.

Optional extras

Can I install a table on my boat?

No Pioner boats have pre-moulded fixing points for installing a table. If you wish to install something that is not part of the original specification, please contact your distributor for assistance.

Can you mount watersports accessories on the boat? Such as a tow rope loop for water skiing or wakeboarding.

None of our Pioner boats comes with pre-moulded fixing points for installing watersports accessories. You can use the hooks and fixing points that are pre-moulded on the boat If you wish to install equipment that is not part of the original specification, please contact your distributor for assistance.

What type of trailer do you recommend?

We do not have any contractual agreements with trailer suppliers, but we know that Respo can supply suitable trailers.

Is it possible to buy decals?

Yes, these are available at distributors

How should I mount and position an echo sounder on my Pioner boat?

That depends on the model. Please contact your distributor who will recommend the best choice.

Can Pioner owners register their boat with you?

Boats are registered in the Pioner boat register via our distributors.

Do you market your boats internationally?

Yes. Go to pionerboat.com to find distributors in Europe.

Can I go for a test drive in a boat?

Yes, please contact a distributor for more information on how and when you can go for a test drive in one of their boats.
